WARHOG Release New EP The Dystopian Chronicles Vol. 2
WARHOG, the fierce four-piece metal band hailing from Dallas, Texas, is back with The Dystopian Chronicles, Vol. 2, an EP that takes listeners even deeper into the band’s vision of dark and uncertain futures. Emerging from the shadows of their acclaimed Chronicles, Vol. 1, this second volume expands upon the themes of struggle, survival, and dystopia, adding a haunting emotional depth and stylistic range that’s destined to resonate with fans of heavy, thought-provoking music.
With The Dystopian Chronicles, Vol. 2, WARHOG dives headfirst into the raw edges of possible futures. It’s a track that feels like gazing into a cosmic void and sets a somber, heavy tone for the rest of the EP. The single “Artificial Echoes” then transports listeners into a futuristic world where mechanical voices blend with human echoes, blurring the lines between life and simulation. This is quickly followed by the uncompromising “Kill or Die Trying,” which delves into themes of struggle, resistance, and survival, told from the perspective of military grunts entrenched in an endless space war against a relentless alien enemy.
BEYOND EXTINCTION
TEAM UP WITH BLACK TONGUE'S ALEX TEYEN FOR NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO 'TYRANNY'
Essex-based death metallers BEYOND EXTINCTION have released their latest single and accompanying music video for 'Tyranny', which features a monstrous guest vocal appearance from Black Tongue's Alex Teyen.
On the new single and collaboration, BEYOND EXTINCTION comment:
“This was a crossover that we’ve dreamed of since we were teenagers. Dropping down to double drop B and adding Alex from Black Tongue onto the track feels completely natural and a step into a sound we have refined for our upcoming music. It’s slow, nasty and feels massive in scale which ties soundly into the lyrics and foreshadowing of the track.”
Breed 77 Unleash New Single Just Act Like You Know, UK Tour Ongoing Now!
Their first full UK tour in almost a decade is almost upon us, so what better time for Breed 77 to drop a new single?! The Gibraltan / UK flamenco metal maestros have released new single "Just Act Like You Know" today, the 18th of November, partway through their UK tour that began a few days ago on the 15th of November.
The first two singles since their return - End Of The Line and Outside - have been heralded as an immediate return to form, and Just Act Like You Know is no different. A huge chorus with equally huge riffs, underpinned by that flamenco classical guitar sound that Breed 77 are so well known for - designed to warm metal hearts as the nights get colder.
For some more about the new single, hear it from the band themselves:
"The inspiration for this track comes from the madness the world descended into during the pandemic and it's aftermath; the protests, the riots, the wide-spread paranoia. Everyone was confused and scared but some pretended to be confident and spread misinformation and hate... All the while 'just acting like they knew' what was going on when in reality they were just as confused and scared as the rest of us."
Back in the Spring, Breed 77 proved they hadn't lost a step despite a decade away from live shows. Headlining Uprising Festival, and a handful of other headline shows, the fan reaction was off the scale; It was if they had never been away. On the strength of this reaction, Breed 77 are heading back out on the road in November!
This new tour will take in several towns and cities they were not able to visit on the last run. With the powerful live force that is Red Method joining them on this run as special guests, this will be one of the best metal tours of the UK this side of Christmas!
The tour kicked off on the 15th of November in Glasgow and takes in seven shows in total, finishing off at The Victoria in Swindon on the 22nd. With four shows to go, details of the remaining tour dates can be found below:Breed 77 November 2024 UK Tour w/ Red Method (remaining shows)

UK metal legends Raging Speedhorn unveil video for new single
UK metal legends Raging Speedhorn have releaased a video for their new single ‘Night Wolf’, their debut release on new label Spinefarm Records.
The band comment on the video: "Shot in just over a day, the 'Night Wolf' video was inspired by our love of 80s movies and plays on a line taken from the single, "the animal inside is you". With tongue firmly in-cheek, it shows the transition from day into night and human turning into wild animal."
A major presence within the UK metal scene for the past two decades, with half a dozen crushing studio outings to their name (and what a name!), Raging Speedhorn have forged their reputation through hard touring, hard music, plus a no-compromise attitude… to everything.
New single, ‘Night Wolf’, the band’s first for Spinefarm, produced by Russ Russell, sees the six musicians – as much gang as band – delivering one of the most memorable moments of their career, with all valves glowing, all faders up and all needles flicking red.
Metal Enchantress WHITE CRONE Unveils New Single “The Conscript”
“The Conscript” is the newest single from the bewitching visionary that is WHITE CRONE. The track combines elements of progressive and power metal, depicting a somber conversation in an unnamed medieval village between a mother and her son, as he faces conscription into war. Lisa Mann, the front woman of WHITE CRONE, dedicates this song to all conscripts, and those brave refuseniks who risk it all to not participate.
About WHITE CRONE:
Based out of Portland, Oregon, WHITE CRONE is the metal brainchild of award-winning blues artist and bassist/vocalist Lisa Mann. Growing up in the mosh pits of the 80s, she was inspired by bands such as IRON MAIDEN, MERCYFUL FATE, BLACK SABBATH, MANOWAR, DIO, and more. A mostly one-woman project, WHITE CRONE is a love letter to this grand era of metal, and a lyrical homage to mystical storytelling traditions of yore.
In 2020 she channeled all those influences and released her debut album as WHITE CRONE, the critically acclaimed The Poisoner. For the first time, she featured not only on bass guitar and vocals, but on 7-string guitar as well. Larry London provided most of the drums, save for one track featuring the legendary Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO).
AOIDOS Release New Single "From The Surface Grate"
Blackened death metallers AOIDOS have released "From the Surface Grate" the third single from their highly anticipated upcoming album Oizys which is set to be released on November 29th, 2024 via Nox Liberartio Records.
The band comments that the song "is inspired by the Warhammer 40,000 universe, focusing on the Dark Eldar and their torturous methods of extracting life force from "Monkeigh," a derogatory term derived from "monkey" that they use to refer to humans. The lyrics narrate the story of a human prisoner held in a Dark Eldar dungeon, enduring unspeakable horrors until his death. In his final moments, he is greeted by a powerful, ethereal voice—the Emperor himself—urging the loyal servant to surrender to death and end his suffering: “In a parallel plane of reality, your mind shielded from all insanity. Say your goodbyes, your mind is gone. Let it go, my child.”
The Dark (feat Of Mice and Men's Craig Johns Jr) release second single
The band comment: "Our first song, 'Chemicals' was about coping in an unhealthy way. 'Slip Away' is the natural progression of that. It's the next part of the story. It's losing yourself in your habits until you become unrecognizable. It's the pain when you come-to. It's self awareness and it's hurt. 'Slip Away' is struggle you face when you meet yourself where you're at. It's the pain when you look in the mirror honestly. It's a rude awakening.
On the video they continue: "When I wrote the video for 'Slip Away', it was important to me I tell the story of the song, whereas 'Chemicals' was more a day-in-the-life sort of video. You have this person, bound to the injured version of themselves... connected as one and confined to a space they can't escape. They separate and see their hurt before them. The bandages come off and it's loud, it's vulnerable... it's unpredictable. Only through acceptance and embrace can they find peace, but even still, in a space they'll never leave."

Virtue Fall to release new Single "Death's Hand" on Halloween 2024
"Death's Hand" is our second release of the year, and we couldn’t be prouder. This track captures the essence of By Virtue Fall with its powerful riffs and soaring melodic chorus, while also hinting at the direction we want to take the band in the future.
We’re especially excited about the live video, which was filmed at Bloodstock Festival 2024. Since then, we’ve been working closely with Riccardo Cenci, and this latest collaboration perfectly captures the incredible summer that we've had. For us, it’s not just a video but a time capsule of where we are now — and a launchpad for even bigger things to come.
Winter 2024 is going to be a big one for us, with some exciting shows planned and lots of work going on behind-the-scenes in the studio and other projects yet to see the light of day - we can't wait to launch into 2025 and make that the best year for By Virtue Fall yet."
ENFORCED Unleashes Ferocious New EP "A Leap Into the Dark"
ENFORCED, the unstoppable force of crossover thrash, is back with their blistering new EP, A Leap Into the Dark. Featuring six powerhouse tracks, this EP delivers everything fans have come to expect from the Virginia-based quintet: searing riffs, unrelenting aggression, and lyrics that pull no punches.
Accompanying the release is the brand-new video for the lead single, “Betting on the End.” This incendiary track juxtaposes the idea that “politicians are ‘gambling with our lives’” against the concept that everyday people are doing it for them. "It's a spiral about the devaluation of human life in the modern age. It feels like we're all just chips to be wagered, but at its core, we'd be wagering our own lives regardless. So can you blame an entity for essentially mocking your own behavior? It works both ways and on every level; be it an individual or an overpowered government. The house wins in the end."
Recorded with Lance Koehler, A Leap Into the Dark is a direct follow-up to the band’s acclaimed 2023 album War Remains. With three new songs and remastered versions of fan favorites, the EP captures the raw, relentless energy that has become synonymous with ENFORCED’s sound.

The unyielding force of death metal, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS, announces the release of their latest single, “Infestation,” a bone-crushing, riff-laden head-smash inspired by the gritty world of the video game Dishonored. Serving as the second track from their upcoming album The Mother Of Death, which drops November 29th, “Infestation” channels relentless aggression and intricate musicianship that pushes the boundaries of metal.
True to their sound and ethos, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS taps into the brutality of a rat-plagued dystopia with unmatched ferocity. “Infestation” blends the band’s iconic AT THE GATES style riffing, adding relentless speed, crushing rhythms, and razor-sharp intensity. This song’s relentless “stomp” is set to enthrall fans, showcasing the heaviest elements yet in their repertoire.
The track includes a dual guitar assault from Manuel and Michael, who each bring a distinct voice to the song’s intensity. Manuel’s lead takes an unconventional, “outside” approach, blending dissonant tones with razor precision, while Michael delivers a hard-hitting, ’80s-inspired solo that adds depth and fury. Together, they create a complex, driving anthem that pushes the boundaries of their genre.
Post-Rock Collective BLUNTKNEES Releases Powerful New Single “Catch the Dark”

BLUNTKNEES, formed in 2022, has quickly gained traction with their dynamic sound, blending elements of indie rock, heavy metal, classical music, and shoegaze—all without the use of traditional guitars. Instead, the band's signature guitar-like sound is achieved solely through Dani “Trip” Mailer’s unique approach to bass guitar. Club 85 in Hitchin aiming to raise money to buy the venue from current owner.
A grassroots music venue that was due to be turned into flats could be saved by public donations.
Club 85 in Hitchin has hosted more than 10,000 artists in the past 23 years, including James Bay, Enter Shikari and The Subways.
Bob Marden, who has run Club 85 since it opened, has set up a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) to purchase and run the venue.
"It means we can attract grants and match funding. We’re going to be doing a share sale so that the local community can buy shares, so it would then go into community ownership and secure it forever," he said.
A planning application to turn the club into housing is now on hold, giving supporters the chance to buy it.
They will need to raise £2m through crowd funding.

German technical death metallers Burn Down Eden release new single/video 'Tears of Persephone'
Germany tech-death metallers Burn Down Eden have released their third single, 'Tears of Persephone', taken from forthcoming EP, Epiphany, set for release 6th December via Seek & Strike. This is the successor to their Dismal EP, which was released earlier this year.
Burn Down Eden state: "'Tears of Persephone' is a renarration from Greek mythology. It tells the story of the kidnapping of fertility goddess Persephone by Hades into the underworld from her perspective. Hades fell in love with Persephone, stole her and married her against her will. As a consequence, she had to spend the rest of her life in the underworld. Her mother Demeter started searching for her and after some minor setbacks, she finally understood what was going on. Out of pure rage, she started to burn all plants and threatened to destroy the human race. Hades released Persephone thereupon, but gave her something to eat as a goodbye gift. Unfortunately, Persephone ran into an ambush since the food bound her to the underworld. From then on, she had to return to the underworld for some months of the year and every time she did, nothing would grow on planet earth until she came back. So, this myth explains why we have seasons, but from a modern perspective you can also use this myth as a parable for forced marriages.
"The music and video supplements all that and shows Demeter's search for Persephone until she finally finds her in Hades. Well, we bend the truth a little bit here, since Demeter is played by Pether. However, the mood from walking through corn fields, climbing mountains and finally making it to the underworld shines through. The three-four time is the base for all the melodies and harmonies that gives the song a very sad feeling. Listening to the chorus, you can really feel Persephone's pain.

Throwback Guitars Carrying the Name of Former KISS Guitarist, “Kulick Guitars”
Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2024) – Hard rock and heavy metal legend Bruce Kulick and “The Sensei of Vintage 1980s Guitars,” Johnny DiFatta of AXN Guitars have announced a special collaboration to engineer boutique guitars under a new banner, Kulick Guitars.
“Meeting Johnny from AXN ignited my love of M-1 guitars from the 1980s. This collaboration will help me create boutique quality guitars worthy of my name on the headstock.” - Bruce Kulick
Bruce Kulick, you know the name… 12 years, 8 albums with rock ‘n roll icons KISS. The Asylum and Revenge records carrying his credits are considered indispensable. 23 years a member of Grand Funk Railroad. Trusted sidearm to Meat Loaf, Billy Squier, Union, Avantasia, Lordi and Michael Bolton.
Guitar luthier and ESP aficionado, Johnny DiFatta from AXN Guitars is recreating the glitter, the glam and the grunge of a short-lived period of time in rock n’roll history. AXN Guitars, a brand name carrying its own weight.
If you’ve caught recent shows by The Bruce Kulick Band, you may have been treated to the sight of Kulick wielding an ESP-styled guitar faced with a recall of his Asylum album era. Consider Kulick’s AXN-backed Asylum boutique guitar a tribute and a mission statement. Retro elegance. Arena-heralding flair.

Decibels so loud you felt the vibrations in your bones a week after the show. The image and the glitz and awesome custom-built instruments with graphics. These are guitars made famous by the MTV era of the 1980s.
AXN Guitars founder and luthier Johnny DiFatta wants to keep the spirit alive. Joining him in this preservation effort is former KISS and Grand Funk Railroad guitarist, Bruce Kulick. Together, they’re bringing you Kulick boutique handmade Guitars.
“Bruce reached out because we liked the same things, and we started talking about the guitars he used during his era of KISS,” Johnny explains as the foundation to their future collaboration. “We went over the early 1980s ESP catalogs of guitars Bruce played and used live at that time.” DiFatta adds, “ESP Guitars were one of my two main influences as a guitar manufacturer with the other being early Charvel Guitars.”
KISS’ Asylum will turn 40 years old next year, and with it marking the recording debut of Bruce Kulick with the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famers. Asylum served as a linchpin toward fostering a retro homage project starting in 2020.

"For this second album, Blissful Death, we went all in, pouring our heart and soul into 45 minutes of unrelenting auditory warfare. Building on the foundation laid by Dawn of an Eyeless Realm, we doubled the intensity and complexity, evolving into 11 brutal tracks that blend Deathcore with the crushing weight of Slam, the intricate structures of Progressive Metal, and the dark, suffocating atmosphere of Black Metal. This time, we focused on creating an immersive, organic wall of sound that draws listeners into a chaotic yet meticulously crafted experience. Every note is calculated chaos, every riff a descent into madness, pushing boundaries while staying true to our aggressive ethos. This album is not just a continuation—it's a statement, a raw and violent evolution of everything we've been building toward." - says the band

Italian alternative metal group Stage Of Reality have released a new official video for the title track from their forthcoming album of the same name.

The sleeping masses attached to the cables that power up the Digital God's world are at the same time energy and will to be governed.... Gods have always been fueled by ignorance. "Keep Planting Flowers is a collection of songs that exist to spite the nihilistic narrative that plagues our minds and societies," vocalist Jesse Barnett says about the album. "One that says things are just the way that they are and that regardless of the burning rage or depthless depression that this fills us with, there is simply nothing we can do about it. I militantly reject such a joyless outlook on the one life that I get the honor of living. A new world needs a new you, so no matter how bad things get, keep planting flowers."
Dogma seduce the saints with lustful rendition of Madonna's hit 'Like A Prayer'
After a triumphant run through Latin America, Dogma are ready to set fire to the musical world with their provocative cover of Madonna’s 'Like a Prayer'. The track isn’t just a cover, it’s a defiant reclamation of the sacred and the sensual. Known for their unapologetic fusion of heavy metal and raw sexuality, Dogma infuse this iconic anthem with their signature darkness, turning it into something entirely their own.
DOGMA’s 'Like A Prayer' invites listeners to dive headfirst into a world where the divine and the carnal collide. With DOGMA, nothing is as it seems, and their version of Madonna's controversial hit promises to push those boundaries further than ever before.
The visually striking music video shatters conventional religious imagery. Lilith, the band’s fearless frontwoman, engages in a sensuous, charged interaction with a figure resembling the Jesus Christ depicted in Madonna’s original 'Like A Prayer' music video. In true Dogma style, the crosses aren’t just set aflame, they’re inverted and blazing, a powerful symbol of defying tradition and casting aside old beliefs. This is more than just shock value. These visuals serve as a direct challenge to the systems of cool and hypocrisy. With each flame, Dogma strip away the old to usher in a new era of freedom and sexual lntriberation.

“It was really fun to write because that song just fell out of me,” says STARBENDERS lead singer/guitarist, Kimi Shelter. “It's about extraterrestrials coming into our world. I can kind of see myself as being the ultra-terrestrial pulled into this dimension of the night time streets. The city is always alive, but at night it's a whole other world. I think the character comes into the night and doesn't really understand why they're there and maybe is confused and then is trying to figure out who they’re supposed to go to.”

US aggressors MOUTH FOR WAR drop their punishing new standalone single, 'The Earth's Cold Embrace' with an accompanying video. At once ominous and pit-propelling from its first note, the track stands among the band’s heaviest work to date.
MOUTH FOR WAR vocalist Trae Roberts comments: "‘The Earth's Cold Embrace’ is the next step in musical evolution for MOUTH FOR WAR. We're bringing in lots of new elements while still maintaining the influences that brought this band together. We were very stoked to bring in [producer] Josh Schroeder to really bring this new track to life.
“The track is based on a dream I had on tour that really messed with my head for a few days. It was essentially a storyline where I killed someone in a private setting, then proceeded to be stalked by a crowd of people that knew what I had done until ultimately being forced to shoot myself. I tried to embody the mood of the dream in the instrumental of this track before even implementing lyrical content. We were lucky enough that our friend Dave hooked us up with this underground nuclear missile complex to shoot the video, which was incredibly fitting to the eerie vibe of the song. Hopefully you all love the new track as much as we do.”

Surrounded by endless horizons, BLUE HERON formed in 2018 out of a compulsion to fill the vastness with massive volume, saturating their piece of desert with rolling, thunderous riffs, drums that pummel and swing, deep, thrumming tones and vocals that rip and roar. Full of rhythmic intensity, sledgehammer riffing, and vocals ranging from clean and moody to howling and raw, "Everything Fades" covers a wide expanse of musical ground that shows how familiar influences can always be molded into inventive, exciting new forms.

With less than a month to go until the release of their self-titled album, Sydney glam rockers STARCRAZY have released a video for their single "What It's Worth".
The band comments "What It’s Worth is a reflective song about the value of creative endeavors, it questions the validity of the work that we produce as artists ie are you getting back what you put in? Does your work mean anything to other people? Is it connecting? These are the questions I think are necessary to ask yourself when writing/creating.
Musically, this song draws from late 70s power-pop with a huge backbeat that drives the song, we like to think of it as Jellyfish meets Supergrass…"

MEMBRANCE: Italian death metallers to release new EP "Undead Remains"
Venice death metallers MEMBRANCE announce the release of their new EP "Undead Remains", out October 11th. With the announcement, the Italian band drops the first single "Corpse For Sale", alongside a music video.
The band commented: “'Corpse For Sale' is a metaphor of Venice seen as an abandoned corpse adrift, continuously stripped and plundered both by the worms that infest the city (Venetian people willing to sell it off to make money) and by those passing beasts (tourists) who just snatch a filthy morsel before leaving. A carcass that everyone is willing to see before it finally rots away”.
On the EP, MEMBRANCE say: “‘Undead Remains' showcases what’s left from the sessions of our last album 'Undead Island': these are older and slightly more experimental tracks that the band was still working on during the recording of the full-length. For this reason they were not included in the album, as we wanted to give them more exposure in a subsequent release.
In addition to 'Corpse For Sale', among the new tracks with a more experimental style there is 'Vengeance's Price', which features Sara Tacchetto, singer of Vallorch, on vocals. This song is inspired by Shakespeare's play 'The Merchant of Venice’: each verse is an act with a different character. The collaboration with Sara was born by entrusting her with two acts in which the protagonist is a woman.
To close this release, we have included a cover that is very dear to us, both for the themes covered and for its impact in the live setting, and a couple of live recordings of our most ferocious and punishing songs.
The artwork was painted by Francesco Cagali in the style of his previous work for us, while the mastering of the EP was handled by Luca Cocconi of Audiocore Studio, precisely to link these songs with the latest full-length 'Undead Island’”.

The original lyrics, by Christopher Baldwin, were about the restorative and unifying power of music. We included his bridge lyrics, “Play the pain away / Heal my soul,” because they embody how music brought us together and has been a driving force in our lives. Also, Descendents fans, there are a couple lyrical Easter eggs in there!"
